Hi,

I've just finished my Ajax Google Calendar reader in Combination with Google Maps, it's working pretty good.
The Google Maps feature in combination with a public shared google calendar only works if the "where" field is filled in properly! (ie: Amsterdam, Netherlands or coordinates)

"Next update is to plot the locations on the Map!"

Google Calendar + Google Maps Demo

With kind regards,
Vidal de Wit

hi...
i love this plug-in.
just what i was looking for. it installs and works well for an alpha.
but now a query:
when i check to make an entry published only as an event, a post also appears under 'recent posts' in the sidebar.
anyway to avoid this.
thanks.
waiting for beta, now

Hi,

thank you for this great plugin. I have coded on your module and realized the correct order of events in iCal_list_events and I also added a function parameter to control the number of events that are shown. If you provide me with your email address I will send you the new function as a donation for your work.

Hi,

Great Plugin and thank you for making it. I have the plugin up and working, I can make a post, it shows the event(s) where I want them. But I don't see anything on your site or in the downloaded files to tell me how to interface it with Google Calendar, etc. I can do the coding in my pages to show the drop down but it does me no good if I can't link those to someplace else.

Thanks again,
Patrick

Very cool, you're off to a great start with this plugin already.

One suggestion/request: hcalendar/hevent microformat support (see microformats.org if you're not familiar with them)

I'm not sure if it'll make your job easier or harder but I believe it should make it easier since hcalendar is based on ical and there are plenty of parsers and parsing tools already which can handle parsing the calendar/events into ical as well as variations of it such as Outlook compatible, etc.

Hope to see continued progress on this great plugin!

Cheers,

Hi
Nice plugin. Tried the others and this is just what I wanted.

Comments:
1 - In "List of Events in Sidebar Options" - it has a REAL problem with atile containing an apostrophe.
2 - Same options area, it seems to default to 5, no matter what number (including 0) you type in.

Help please:
a - I know it's tracking the locations and start/finish times, but I can't figure out how to print them. Could we have an extended example of the syntax.
b - The "Create an Event" section on the post is nice. Might be good to spell out "from" and "to".
c - Also, "time" fields seem too narrow. Not sure whether that is a problem or not.
d - I figure that the custom fields are being populated by the plugin. Can you keep that "window" closed so as not to confuse the user?

Thanks

ole: I actually did not know PHP iCalendar before you mentioned it! It looks nice. I need to check whether it works together. It should be since both talk ical format (although I know I still have some issue with my ical formatting). I will look at their code to inspire me to improve the ical generating process.
Thanks for this remark.

mersenne: looks pretty strange to me. I'll try to investigate later next week. Do you have more details about this issue? Which version of WP do you use?

Realy cool, i have been looking for just such a plugin for a long time too.

Do you know if it is compatible with the PHP iCalendar?

For mapping i love the Geo Plugin in combination with the Geo Mashup.
