CS-4U is an easy-to-use yet powerful customer and invoicing system for utilities (water, electricity mainly). It allows utilities to conveniently produce regular invoices based on on-site meter reading and to manage payment, contract lifecycle, tariff and all related information.

This solution has been developed initialy for a utility in East-Timor, therefore, a lot ofspecificities of low GPD countries havw been taken into consideration (you can read more about CS4U background).

The data model is based on years of experiences in utilities, still keeping data simple and very easily extendable.
CS-4U provides a user management system based on permissions which allows you to easily give access rights to any part of the system and make sure that the right person can access the right part of the system.

CS-4U has been developed with multi-services and multi-utilities at its core, meaning that one system can manage e.g. water and electricity services at the same time either in a shared environment or a secure area for each utility.

Live Demo

I have put a demo with some limited access. This demo includes fake data (particularly names generated by the fantastic Star War random name generator) and this is not the latest version but very close to it. Access the live demo (username: demo, password: demo)

More importantly: CS-4U is a FOSS under GPL license v2. Actually, the source code is not yet published but I’ll eventually do it, as soon as I can find some time to make it available in a convenient way and if I find people interested to setup a team with me to go further in its development.
